I’ve been wearing the Mako Wave Men’s Performance Fishing Shirt for a few trips now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to pieces for long days on the water. The first thing that stands out is how lightweight and breathable it feels. Even in the heat and humidity, it doesn’t cling or feel heavy, and it dries pretty quickly after getting splashed. The fabric does a solid job with sun protection too, which makes a big difference when you’re out for hours.
Fit-wise, it’s comfortable without being baggy. There’s enough room to move around easily when casting or reeling, but it still looks clean enough to wear off the boat. The material has a bit of stretch, which helps with mobility. I also like that it doesn’t hold onto odors the way some performance shirts do after a long day. After a full trip, it still feels relatively fresh, which is a nice bonus.
